Day 7 of my 9-day, 770-mile Ontario cycling adventure saw my cycling about 80 miles over nearly six hours along the shores of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
I started out in Owen Sound and headed North, passing Big Bay and Colpoy’s Bay on my way into Wiarton. I kept pushing west, cycling down Bruce Road 12 between Spry Lake and Boat Lake until I hit Oliphant and Lake Huron and headed south to beautiful Sauble Beach. I threw back some coffee and ice cream on the strip and then headed east back to Owen Sound, passing through Shallow Lake and Cruickshank.
There were some incredible water views on this route and I will definitely put it on my list for future excursions. One of the photos I took that day is still the screensaver on my phone.
